My lifestyle moodboard

Everyone has a moodboard, whether they are a designer or not. I have one for the material things I find extremely beautiful—some I own, some are on my wishlist, and some simply to marvel at.

There are other moodboards (far more important ones), but this one quite fits the narrow lifestyle interests I have. Even though some are luxurious, others are fully raw, muddy, and you need boots to enter them (vineyard), visibly present is the mix between the old and new. Similar as the conflict in every creative work I do as a designer. Old vs new, modern vs timeless, soft vs strong…

As with most people, there are various tastes in each of us, and in order to honour the very feeling that puts pieces together, I try to always make small moodboard(s). And pursue some of those interests.

Those change across time, every year there’s another interest in object tied to lifestyle, or an art piece, a gadget, an outdoor gear, or more. But that’s for another moodboard.
